Supported by the Turkistan Regional Department of Culture and organized by the I. Altynsarin Regional Children’s Library, a presentation was held for the book “Love of Friends” (Dostardyn Makhabbaty) by Turkish author Fatma Güner. The book was translated into Kazakh by Gulzhaz Karybek, a renowned journalist, member of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan, recipient of the “Nizami” medal, and Editor-in-Chief of Sarasöz magazine.

The event featured book exhibitions reflecting Turkish literature and culture. Guests enjoyed a themed buffet with Turkish delicacies mentioned in the book, such as simit, baklava, and traditional candies, creating an immersive experience for the readers.

Performances by artists from the Turkistan City Culture House and a theatrical play by young readers highlighted the book’s educational value. Additionally, art students from the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University presented illustrations inspired by the story. The book, sponsored by Library Director Rysbek Letaev, was re-released with a circulation of 1,000 copies due to high demand.
